Written primarily for the substitute teacher, this guide will assist you in making good decisions on what districts, schools, grade levels, and classes are best for you. It contains many suggestions, ideas, and tips that will help you to establish and maintain a good classroom learning atmosphere.
Using my own 25 years of classroom teaching experiences plus suggestions from teachers, administrators, and students, I created this 38 page guide. In it I describe and explain many of the tricks students like to play on the sub, and offer methods to prevent those tricks from happening, or how best to respond to each situation.
In the guide, I also describe some of the special character traits that students often display, and suggest some positive ways to interact with them.
In addition to a full lesson plan, I include many fun activities that you can use when there is extra time.
